Ask Sen. Alexander and Corker to bring home a Nashville-bound Kurdish family

UPDATE: Victory! Fuad Sharef Suleman & his family have been cleared to travel to Nashville! More details will be available soon. THANK YOU to everyone who contacted Senators Alexander and Corker!

Fuad Sharef Suleman, his wife, son and two daughters gave up everything to leave Iraq to come to Tennessee—quitting their jobs and school, and selling their home, car and most of their belongings—only to be turned away en route to Nashville as a result of Pres. Trump's unconstitutional #MuslimBan. The family, who has gone through two years of vetting and has special visas for Iraqi employees of the American government, made it as far as Cairo but was sent back to Iraq. Though an exception to the ban has been announced that would allow families like the Sulemans to enter the U.S., it will still help for your senators to know that you want them to step in on this family’s behalf.  For Day 12 of #100DaysTN, call U.S. Senators Alexander and Corker, and ask them to intervene on behalf of Fuad Suleman to allow him and his family to join us in their new home, the Volunteer State: http://bit.ly/2jRJnro
