Don't revoke Tennesseans licenses simply because they can’t afford their court fees and fines

Urge lawmakers to stop taking away people's drivers' licenses simply because they can't afford to pay court fees and fines. This week, legislators will take up a bill fixing a punitive state law that revokes the driver's license of a person who can’t pay off their court debts within one year, unfairly targeting poor people who are unable to pay expensive legal fees and resulting in tens of thousands of Tennesseans losing their means of getting and keeping a job, supporting their families and successfully re-entering society. Tell #TNleg that we should help Tennesseans who are working hard to reenter society, not make it more difficult for them: http://bit.ly/2oI615b  #100DaysTN
