David Warren, MBA, is the director of development at the ACLU of Tennessee, where he leads statewide fundraising and donor engagement efforts to protect and advance civil liberties. He is a mission-driven leader with over two decades of experience in fundraising, corporate account management, and media strategy. Before joining the ACLU of Tennessee, David served as a planned giving advisor at WKNO Public Media and a fundraising manager at Houston Public Media.
David's journey into social justice began at Morehouse College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. The school's legacy of service and advocacy instilled in him a deep belief in equity, dignity, and community empowerment. He later earned his MBA from the University of Miami, applying his advanced knowledge of business strategy to philanthropy and nonprofit growth. He is dedicated to helping donors align their support with social change, ensuring their contributions make a lasting impact for future generations.
