"Bridging the Gap: Diversity, Tolerance or Understanding"
at Belcourt Theater

On Thursday evening, August 22, "Under the Skin" by Peruvian filmmaker Yuri Cunza will be shown at 7:00 p.m. at the Belcourt Theater (2102 Belcourt Ave) in Hillsboro Village. The film, the first to be shown as part of the Latin American Cinema Series, focuses on diversity in Nashville. A panel discussion, "Bridging the Gap: Diversity, Tolerance or Understanding," will follow at 7:30 p.m. Panelists include: Ron Kidd (INS Special Agent-In-Charge), Jerry Gonzalez (LULAC-TN), Hedy Weinberg (ACLU-TN), Mario Ramos (Ramos & Costen), and Kennetha Sawyer (Office of Professional Accountability, Metro Police).

The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students.
