Bill of Rights Celebration

The ACLU-TN Bill of Rights Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2002, in Nashville. At our Celebration we will honor the plaintiffs and their attorneys who challenged the posting of the Ten Commandments in public buildings in Hamilton and Rutherford Counties. These individuals’ courage and perseverance ensure religious freedom for all us. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a silent auction; dinner will be served at 8:15, followed by the awards presentation and a special performance by Bill Lloyd, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter. Join us on November 2 to celebrate our honorees and to support our work to ensure that in both times of tranquility and crisis our constitutional guarantees are protected.
