Women have made great strides in the fight for equality, including women’s suffrage and inroads in equal opportunity in the workplace and education.  However, women and girls still face women still face discrimination, violence, and institutional barriers to equal participation in society.  ACLU-TN works to ensure that women can enjoy the benefits of full equality and participation in work, education, and every sphere of our communities.
