Privacy and Use PolicyPrivacyThe American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee (ACLU-TN) is a private, non-profit, non-partisan membership organization serving the state of Tennessee. All ACLU-TN membership and donor information, including contact information and giving history, is confidential. We do not share our list of Tennessee members and donors with other organizations. However, members of ACLU-TN are also members of the National ACLU, and National ACLU does occasionally share its membership list with other organizations. If you wish to request that your membership information not be shared by National ACLU, please contact them directly at: ACLU Information regarding requests for assistance from ACLU-TN is kept confidential, and no public action is taken on any complaint until the individual making the request has been consulted and supports the action. However, it may be necessary for us to share information within our organization when researching and evaluating requests. UseThe ACLU-TN website does not use “cookies” that are automatically written to your computer’s hard drive or retained by ACLU-TN. However, our web host does collect anonymous site statistics, such as: the number of views of each page; the domain names and/or IP addresses of visitors; referrals from other pages; and browsers used to access our site.
