On Thursday, January 15 at 6 PM CT, we’re holding our second annual Legislative Advocacy Kick-Off in preparation for the Tennessee State legislative session. At this kickoff, you’ll hear directly from the ACLU-TN Policy team about the priority bills we’re tracking this session. You’ll get an inside look at how our Community Engagement team will equip you with the tools and training needed to defeat legislative attacks on liberty at the Tennessee General Assembly. We’ll also share how we will continue to mobilize and strategize around our central campaigns from Mason, TN all the way to Rutherford County. Your role is vital to this work. As attacks on civil liberties continue, community-powered advocacy is what makes real resistance—and real wins—possible. Our legislators must hear from Tennesseans about how their decisions will impact us. This kickoff is not only informative; it’s focused on how you can influence every step of the legislative process at our state capitol.
