Stop legislative crackdown on protesters’ free speech

No one should have to fear for their safety simply for exercising their constitutionally-protected right to speak freely, but that's what bills in state legislatures across the country--including Tennessee--are attempting to do. For Day 28 of #100DaysTN, watch this video on nationwide legislative attempts to intimidate protesters and chill free speech, and then contact the sponsors of Tennessee’s very own SB 944/HB 668, which would grant civil immunity to drivers who strike protesters with their cars under certain circumstances. Tell Rep. Hill and Sen. Ketron to stop their crackdown on protesters’ rights, because protest is a success of representative democracy, not a nuisance to be suppressed.
