Concert to Benefit ACLU-TN

Join the ACLU of Tennessee for an evening of music and community in support of civil liberties work across the state. Pianist Maeve Brophy, joined by guest artist and violinist Linnaea Brophy, will perform a special benefit concert featuring a Steinway Spirio piano provided by Amro Music. Maeve Brophy is Assistant Professor of Music at Rust College, a collaborative pianist for the University of Memphis, and Head of Keyboard Studies at Brown Academy of Music. A Memphis native, she is also known for performing alongside her sister Linnaea as the Brophy Sisters piano/violin duo, championing works by women composers and composers of color. The evening will include remarks from ACLU-TN Executive Director Miriam Nemeth. Those unable to attend in person can watch via livestream on the Maeve Brophy Facebook page.
